Hello!
And welcome to the second instalment of our Gifting Guide to Christmas.
For this edition, we will be recommending some Handcrafted Homeware, Sumptuous Skincare, and because Christmas is the time for giving, we have popped in some of our most loved Charities and some pieces you can buy from them to show your support this Christmas.
Without further ado, lets unwrap our second gift guide…
Handcrafted Homeware
You can’t beat a bit of homeware at Christmas, and these little nuggets of homeliness can make wonderful gifts for friends, family or even yourself!
Kicking things off with a boot room (or car boot!) upgrade with these fabulous personalised welly boot bags from Hariette Pearce. Choose from navy blue or dark green and a vibrant array of colours for your personalisation text – making this a stylish and practical gift!
When the wellies come off at the end of the day and it’s time to snuggle down, we love the thought of this gorgeous handmade Raggy Roux Running Hare Cushion waiting for us on the sofa. Sarah handcrafts each and every item at Raggy Roux, producing an array of wildlife and nature inspired homeware gifts. It would be hard to not fall in love with them all!
Fancy gifting a Cowhide Christmas this year? Over at House of Herd, Emily has all your cowhide needs covered. We just adore her Cowhide Leather Hot Water Bottle Covers and Cowhide Lampshades. They really would make beautiful and unique gifts and one thing we know for sure… anything from House of Herd is sure to be a big hit with your cow loving friend!
For the Christmas cook in your life, we think this Defender Apron from Doodling Lucy would go down a treat, especially when paired with Lucy’s Mr Pheasant Festive Tea Towel which is sure to help mop up any Christmas kitchen mishaps!

Sumptous Skincare
It’s important for us country folk to take care of our skin given that it is out battling the elements all year round. So, we’ve put together some lovely skincare products that would make perfect presents for your all-weather (and fair-weather) friends.
To heal hardworking hands we recommend these Nourishing Hand Oils and Handpicked Selection boxes of Hand Scrubs from Tam Mason, think beautiful scents like Ginger & Grapefruit and Lavender. If something a little more Christmas themed is in your sights, how about choosing the Frankincense & Ylang Ylang scent?
For windswept faces, we love the sound of the Face Refresh Floral Mist from MAKE Skincare. Gift it alongside their Face Rejuvenate Rose Day Cream for the ultimate face loving present. And when a relax is required more than a refresh, give the gift of rest with ‘The Peace’ or ‘The Quiet’ Aromatherapy Mist from Chapter Organics.

Support a Charity
Whilst we are busy thinking about presents for our loved ones, we should also remember that Christmas is a time to give back to those who aren’t directly linked to us.
A great way to do this is by buying your Christmas cards from a charity close to your heart. Below we’ve listed some our favourites who offer some wonderful country inspired cards, sure to bring festive cheer to any mantlepiece.
- RABI – The Farmers Charity, created to uplift and support farming people through practical, financial and emotional assistance.
- Addington Fund – a charity formed to provide housing and disaster relief to farmers in need across England and Wales
- World Horse Welfare – an international charity who aim to help horses in need around the world, and educate those who are entrusted to care for them
If Christmas cards aren’t really your thing, you can still support a charity this Christmas. A super easy way is simply by donating or if you wish to give a gift and do some good all at the same time, we love this inspirational A5 notebook from Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony – perfect for jotting down all those ideas, big and small. For the female farmer in your life, this Sterling Silver and 18ct Gold Plated Wheat Pendant or Wheat Roller Bead from Hiho Silver (in collaboration with RABI) is a gorgeous way to show your support for all the farmers out there.
Just to be completely above board, we do need to point out to you that Hiho belongs to our very own Emma Warren, so we’ll pop #owncompanyad on this one

And that’s a wrap (with Christmas paper of course!) on the second instalment of the CWG Gift Guide.
The guides are proving to be popular, so instead of the intended two…we are now releasing four guides!
Stay tuned for Guide Three which will be landing in your inbox next Sunday. We’ll be focusing on all things sustainability and feature an array of our favourite sustainable brands and their wonderful products.
See you next week!
