Twixmas: Dog Eared Pages and Quiet Days

For the unhurried days of Twixmas, curl up our with book recommendations to help nourish your mind, your wellbeing, and your business.

Twixmas is the unofficial name for that funny period of time between Christmas and New Year, when we’re full of cheese, wavering festive cheer and have absolutely no idea what day of the week it is!

But isn’t it just lovely!

All the pressures of Christmas have passed and it becomes a time to cosy up, rest, and recuperate before we enter 2026 ready to do it all again! Throughout the year we often struggle to put time aside for ourselves to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, which is when the beauty of Twixmas time shines through. It offers the chance for us to slow a little and use our time as we truly wish. For us, we usually find ourselves using this time for long walks, movie afternoons and most importantly finding a corner next to a fire to cosy up in and finally turn those pages of the book that has been nestled in our bookshelf longer than we would like to admit…

But in case every page on your bookshelf has been turned and lovingly dog-eared we thought we would recommend some of the books we will be immersing ourselves in throughout this period. We’ve included a range of books to help nourish your mind, your wellbeing and your business so you can take whatever you feel you need from our bookshelf.
